Food donations help families across the UAE

Families across the Emirates, mainly in Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah have benefited from food donations distributed during the first and third weeks of Ramadan.

“Ramadan is a spiritual and special time of the year for all Muslims as it combines the elements of prayer, fasting and charity,” said Michael Jackson, Marketing Director, UP.

“However, not everyone is privileged to break their fast with proper meals during the holy month and residents should be encouraged to support the various charity organisations such as the Human Appeal International who provide meals for the underprivileged,” he said.
