FNC to Seek Answers
From Two Ministers

ABU DHABI – The Federal National Council (FNC) will discuss two federal bills on tobacco and organic products and seek answers from two ministers during this session on February 10.

The forthcoming session, which is part of FNC’s 14th legislative chapter, will seeking answers from Minister of State for Financial Affairs Obaid Humaid Al Tayer on three issues including the shortage of some banknotes in the market, salary increment for pensioners as well as on the integration of professionals into the social security and retirement law.

Minister of Health Humaid Mohammed Al Qutami will also have to answer questions on the ministry’s policy on dealing with individuals infected with HIV/AIDS and other diseases, procedures to combat diabetes, delayed opening of medical and health care centres, combating the spread of epidemic diseases in the UAE, as well as on technical assessments of medical equipment at hospitals.
