Special audio-visual effects and oriental music added to the breathtaking atmosphere that marked the opening ceremony of the eight theme week of Dubai Summer Surprises attended by Mohammed Al Fardan, Head of the Flowers Surprises Organising Committee, Saeed Al Nabouda, DSS CEO, Ibrahim Saleh, DSS COO, and Ahmed Abdul Kareem, manager of the Public Parks and Agriculture, Dubai Municipality.
The official ceremony of Flower Surprises began with a Kingdom of Flowers show hosting a Princess of Flowers and her people represented by dancers and acrobats at 7.30pm in the mall amidst a huge crowd. The show conducted by specialists from abroad was an instant draw with the audiences who savoured every moment of it. The special flower rain and balloon dropping against the backdrop of charming oriental music heralded yet another fabulous week in the DSS calendar. The show was indeed one of a kind and performed in the region for the very first time.
