Brigadier Khalil Al Mansouri, Director of General Department of Criminal Investigation, said the European woman met a compatriot, named Fernando, in her home country who promised her employment in Dubai.

When the woman reached Dubai, she was taken to a hotel for a day and later shifted to an apartment, where two women were running a brothel.

The woman said she was shocked to discover that she had been sold. When she refused to listen to the women’s orders, an Indian gang member, beat her up.

The woman also alleged that she was raped by the building’s watchman.

However, she managed to escape and informed the police. Four days later, the police raided the prostitution den and arrested the two European women.

Another woman was arrested at the airport, as well as the Pakistani watchman and the Indian gang member.
