Firm invests Dh100m at DHCC

DUBAI - Dubai Healthcare City announced that work has started on the construction of a centre for specialised clinics and labs in line with its commitment to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare facilities for the region.

The proprietors of the building, Nashaat Farhan Sahawana and Salem Al Sayegh have invested Dh100 million into establishing a state-of-the-art facility for physicians and other healthcare professionals seeking to establish their institutions in the DHCC.

Nashaat Sahawana said: "We are pleased to participate in this project as the DHCC offers an attractive and relevant investment opportunity for businessmen, and is being created to offer the world's best practices in medicine and healthcare delivery systems. The facilities to be offered in this centre will allow for healthcare professionals from around the region to set up their clinics and practice within the DHCC. This centre is to be completed by the end of this year."

Omar Moawiyah Al Shunnar, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer of Dubai Healthcare City said: "The construction of this new centre for specialised clinics and labs reflects our dedication to delivering world-class healthcare facilities for the region."

Al Shunnar also pointed out that the construction of the facility would be in accordance with the highest architectural standards, to meet the needs of international medical specialists.

The Dubai Healthcare City is the region's first healthcare free zone area that has a unique integrated services system, where state-of-the-art medical services will be provided. The DHCC will create a world-class cluster of healthcare professionals and service providers at the heart of Dubai.
