Filipino CGMA project raffle on Nov. 7
DUBAI - The organising committee of the Classroom Galing sa Mamamayang Pilipino Abroad (CGMA) project, in a meeting finalised to conduct its raffle draw on November 7 at the Filipino Resource Centre (FRC) of the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The occasion will be attended by Generoso Calonge, the Philippine's Consul-General and Charge d'Affaires to the UAE.
The meeting, which was chaired by Annabella Oliveros, Labour Attache, and was attended by 16 of the committee members and staff from the Philippine Overseas Labour Office (POLO), also discussed guidelines and established mechanics to ensure the integrity of the raffle draw.
The meeting also set up a committee, to be chaired by Dorie Rafael, to control the conduct of the draw.
Other members on the committee include Rene Fernandez, Treasurer; and Gina Gonzales, Master List Controller.
The committee presented a list of regulations to control the conduct of the draw.
