Federal Supreme Court hears more prosecution witnesses

The State Security Circuit of the Federal Supreme Court on Tuesday continued to hear prosecution witnesses in the case of the clandestine organisation, a statement issued by the Ministry of Justice said.

“A total of 73 male defendants and 12 female defendants appeared before presiding judge Falah Al Hajeri. A female defendant didn’t show up because of the death of her mother,” the statement added.

The 4th hearing on Tuesday was attended by 15 media representatives, four representatives from civil society organisations, six defence lawyers, five from the State Security Prosecution, six prosecution witnesses as well as 124 relatives of the defendants. “The Court adjourned the case to Tuesday, March 26, 2013, to listen to more prosecution witnesses,” the statement concluded.
