Family, maids sustain injuries in accident
A couple, their four children and two housemaids incurred minor to moderate injuries when the car they were travelling in flipped over on Friday near the Shaikh Khalifa bridge towards Al Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
Colonel Hamad Nasser Al Blooshi, Director of the Peripheral Areas Traffic Department of the Abu Dhabi Traffic and Patrols Directorate, said as soon as they received information about the accident, patrol cars rushed to the spot along with an ambulance. The injured were provided first aid and were then taken to Shaikh Khalifa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Col Al Blooshi called on motorists to abide by the traffic rules and observe speed limits in order to avoid accidents.
