Extreme Bikers to put on a thrilling show

DUBAI - Dubai Shopping Festival 2004 will have an array of spine-chilling stunts and acts that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

The 'Extreme Bikers 2004', sponsored by Cell'U'Com and Nokia, is guaranteed to be among the most spectacular of skill shows, and the Dubai show follows in the success of the Freestyle AM Tour, Europe, in January 2003. This show features awesome stunts performed by experts on BMX and FMX bikes, performing acts named 'Cliffhanger', 'Superman', 'Seat Grab', 'Lazy Boy' and many more.

Yousif Mubarak, Administration Director, Dubai Shopping Festival, said: "This show is sure to be really spectacular, and all ages will definitely enjoy the stunts and dares of the bikers. After their successful tour of Europe, they have also been booked for shows in Switzerland, Spain, France, Austria, Norway and the Netherlands. Their special arena to perform, the cheer leading squad and the band that will accompany them, 'Sonbeam', will all form the entourage of the bikers." "These riders will jump over anything, even members of the audience will be invited to lie on the ground and have bikes jumping over them! One of the specialties of the BMX performers will be the back flip, which will be performed in Dubai by the German winner of the USA BMX Junior Tour," he added.

Each show will be of 100 minutes duration, and there will be two shows daily. On Mondays during Dubai Shopping Festival 2004 there will be no show. The shows will be at 5.30pm and again at 8.15pm. Tickets are priced at Dh100, Dh60 and Dh30. The price is according to seating arrangements.
