‘Expat faculty will not be neglected’
DUBAI - Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, told Khaleej Times that the expatriate faculty would not be “neglected and would be given a fair deal”.
Following reports that salary increments of expat faculty were not on par with the nationals, he said, “We are following this and hopefully everybody will be given a fair deal with their allowance. We are concerned and we'll give our best to everybody who participated in the development of our country. We have not neglected them and we'll look into it. I am sure we'll find an amicable solution.”
