ESA denounces attacks

ABU DHABI — The Emirates Scout Association (ESA) has issued a declaration expressing solidarity with the Lebanese people.

This followed a charity programme organised at the ESA commission office in Sharjah.

The declaration was relayed by an ESA member in Abu Dhabi to the Lebanese embassy yesterday to mark the launch of the programme.

"The ESA denounces the barbaric Israeli attacks including the brutal massacres and displacement of people and destruction of the basic infrastructure which is a blatant violation of human and children's rights," stated the declaration.

"We will await the moment when the sun of freedom rises again and smiles lit up the faces of Lebanese people," the declaration stated.
