Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General for international aid, said the ERC is keen to expand the number of those benefitting from its services in 14 countries, where it has offices, as well as in other countries by delegating relief provided by the authority, which is always ready to move to any affected area to provide assistance, especially shelter, food and medicine.

The ERC has undertaken a number of developmental and productive and infrastructure projects in several countries, which are exposed to disasters, crises, conflicts or wars that result in destruction of infrastructure and displacement of thousands of civilians.
