Environment Agency board formed

ABU DHABI — The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued Amiri Decree No. 23 for 2005 for the Formation of the Governing Board of the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi.

According to the decree, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will act as Honorary Chairman and Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, will be Chairman of the Board.

Besides, Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, will serve as Deputy Chairman of the Board, whose members will be Shaikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of the Diwan of the Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Province; Shaikh Nahyan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan; Hamad Abdul Rahman Al Midfa, Minister of Health; Khalfan Ghaith Al Muhairbi, Chairman of the Municipalities and Agriculture Department in Abu Dhabi; Eng. Abdullah Nasser Al Suwaidi, Deputy CEO of Adnoc; and Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Managing Director of the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi.
