DUBAI — Mall of the Emirates is currently presenting an amazing show, called ‘The Electrifying Lightning Show’ . It will last until August15 as part of its ongoing activities for Dubai Summer Surprises 2007.
The new show showcases a six-metre transparent globe that will be displayed in the Galleria area of the mall containing a live, captive lighting storm which will produce multi-million volt lightning bolts. These will reach up to three meters in length and will travel at speeds of 45 km/second. Mall-goers will also be gripped with amazement at the daring ‘Lightning Man’ show, where a performer will stand on top of the globe, letting the enormous voltages surge through his body and fly out of his fingertips!
In addition to this, Mall of the Emirates will be exhibiting stories of real-life death-defying encounters with lightning and customers can wonder upon the real-life lightning-struck artifacts which will be on display.
