The Indian Embassy has advised all applicants to get in touch with the Empost Desk in the Consular Hall of the Embassy/Consulate-General to purchase the requisite Empost sticker for Dh10 per application.

Those availing of Tatkal (emergency) service will, however, be exempted from this provision and can, if they so desire, collect their passports from the designated counters.

In the case of application for visas and attestations of documents, applicants have the option to use the services of Empost or collect their documents from the counter.

Meanwhile, from September 1, the Embassy and Consulate General in Dubai will observe weekly holidays on Fridays and Saturdays.
