The proposed four-year agreement is an early win for new Boeing CEO
The Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters granted the wish of a young Emirati man with special needs, Mubarak Brook Al Darmaki, to take a tour in an Abu Dhabi Police Air Wing helicopter in Al Ain.
The tour drew a smile on Al Darmaki’s face as it made him happy. The initiative comes as part of the Friends of the Police Programme for the children of officers for the first semester of the 2014-2015 academic year. The programme was recently organized by the Cultural and Social Activities Section at the Clubs Department at Abu Dhabi Police, and witnessed the participation of 120 students.
Colonel Hareb Khamis Al Khaili, Deputy Head of the Clubs Department at Abu Dhabi Police, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Friends of the Police Programme, said that the Abu Dhabi Police has always been keen to grant the wishes of children or those with special needs. “Mubarak Brook Al Darmaki has dreamt of having a tour on one of the Abu Dhabi Police helicopters,” Colonel Al Khaili noted. “His wish was indeed granted as a result of the Abu Dhabi Police’s interest in fostering the public confidence and strengthening its relations with all society segments.”
