Emirates offers special DSS packages
DUBAI — Emirates is offering super value-for-money Dubai Summer Surprises packages starting from as little as $62 to attract travellers worldwide to the city.
Dubai Summer Surprises, the summer counterpart of the popular Dubai Shopping Festival held during the winter months, is a 10-week family fun-filled shopping-cum-educational festival. During this time, malls take on a carnival-like atmosphere with some of them adopting special themes.
The figure of the number of visitors over the years proves that DSS is growing in popularity year on year. Shopping promotions are still a major attraction with most malls offering the chance to win attractive prizes. Emirates flies to 99 destinations in 62 countries and is promoting DSS worldwide with a full-scale PR and advertising campaign.
Valid from 19 June to 22 August 2008, the packages must be booked for a minimum of three nights and offer customers a choice of 24 city and beach hotels in various price-brackets. Prices include all accommodation-related taxes and service charges and are available to all Emirates' passengers regardless of class of travel.
Extra discounts are available for MasterCard credit card holders and an additional 10kg free baggage allowance on return/onward flights from Dubai is awarded to customers to accommodate all the great DSS bargain shopping they do.
