Update: Emirates confirms the incident of the rat aboard the aircraft, denies the video.

Dubai: The Emirates airline on Sunday confirmed that passengers inside one of Emirates' aircraft panicked because of a rodent that was seen in the plane is true.

The airline clarified that it suspended one of its flights -- Birmingham to Dubai -- after a rat had been discovered on board the plane, which caused fear among the passengers, especially after all attempts made by the cabin crew to get rid of the mouse had failed.

The passengers then were evacuated and transported to a city hotel and spent one night there. The airline then arranged a flight to Dubai for the affected passengers.

According to Emirates, the engineering and cleaning teams checked the plane and took necessary action.
