They were found staying in the country although their visit visas had expired several days ago.

The raid was conducted after a complaint was filed against the errant women by their sponsor. The sponsor claimed that the dancers have illegally stayed in the country without his consent. He also complained that they refused to leave the country or renew their visas or apply for residence permits.

The women, all Arabs, entertained the customers from around midnight to dawn everyday. Besides the entertainment programme, the disco, which is run by a businessman, serves soft and strong drinks besides desserts and fruits. The NRD sources said that legal action would be taken against the women after all investigations are completed.
