Eid Al Fitr celebrations continue

Dhiyafat Al Eid, the Arabic tradition of welcoming guests, was celebrated across musallas, mosques, and malls on Wednesday, marking the second day of Eid Al Fitr.

Shoppers were welcomed at malls with sweets, Arabic coffee, and dates from 4pm till midnight at The Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Mirdiff City Centre, Dubai Outlet Mall, Dubai Festival City, Al Ghurair Centre, and Mercato Mall. Terminals 1 and 3 of the Dubai International Airport also welcomed travelers with Eid sweets, commemorating Emirati hospitality.

Eid sweets were also distributed at prayer venues.

A wide array of fireworks are set to light up Dubai’s night sky from September 1 to 3 marking Eid Al Fitr. Launched from a specially created floating platform on Dubai Creek, residents and visitors can take in the view from Al Seef Street and Dubai Creek Park. The fireworks are scheduled to begin at 9pm.

Modhesh World, iconic of the summer celebrations in Dubai, saw an influx of people on the first day of Eid Al Fitr at Airport Expo Dubai.

Crowds were also treated to an exclusive Eid Carnival featuring jugglers, clowns and musicians, and an Emarati heritage dance group. The venue, open daily from 10am to midnight till September 10 features numerous attractions.

the highlight on day three is a free concert by Arabs Got Talent finalist Hala Al Turk at 8pm tonight. Entry tickets to Modhesh World are priced Dh 10.
