The UAE is all set to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid Al Adha. According to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the private sector will enjoy a three-day break starting from August 31 (Thursday) until Septermber 2 (Saturday) and work will resume on Sunday.
The Federal Authority for Human Resources earlier announced that Eid holidays in the ministries and federal bodies of the UAE government are scheduled to start from August 31 and the resumption of official work is on September 4. To celebrate the upcoming Eid holidays, there are a lot of places to visit during the long weekend.
Dubai Parks and Resorts:  Watch the premiere of the Lionsgate zone at Motiongate Dubai and a series of exciting events on the river at Riverland Dubai. UAE residents will be able to take advantage of the winter season rates of Dh165 for a day ticket to Motiongate Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park and Dh95 for a day ticket to Bollywood Parks Dubai.
La Perle - Dubai's first permanent aqua-based show is set to open on August 31 at the new Al Habtoor City. You will be able to see 65 world class artists who will perform aqua and aerial feats with the assistance of 70 specialised technicians. La Perle uses 2.7 million litres of water and there are no hydraulic lifts or fountains.
Modhesh World - New attractions that will be designed especially for the final three weeks alongside existing offerings in the form of numerous rides, games, workshops, live performances and the all-new food park arena. Modhesh World runs in Hall 1-6 in the Dubai World Trade Centre until September 3, 2017.
Dubai Properties -It will enhance the festive ambience at Bay Square in Business Bay and JBR  through hosting a range of live events. Dubai Properties' other communities, including Mudon, Shorooq and Al Khail Gate, will also have kids' workshops and fun-filled activities catering to families at their community centres.
The Galleria - Enjoy themed cultural activities - including arts and crafts for children - in The Galleria. There is an interactive live art demonstration, with Instagrammable 3D floor art, beautiful Eid décor and traditional calligraphy.
Mushrif Mall - The mall will witness a three-day Eid celebration with onstage activities being coordinated by a bilingual MC in this mall. It's an annual event, wherein each day you can see specific dances performed on stage by a group of professional entertainers with ethnically inspired choreography, music and costumes.
Ferrari theme park - Between September 1 and 9, the world's first Ferrari-branded theme park will house nine days of cultural experiences inspired by the UAE's traditional customs for celebrating Eid, including:live theatrical show, featuring an Emirati grandfather settling down with his grandson to swap cultural tales, punctuated with traditional Ayyala performances.
Al Raha Beach Hotel - Located on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway has a great location for holiday seekers and proximity to all Yas Island attractions. Al Majaz Waterfront  - It has announced its line-up for Eid Al Adha with an impressive mix of exciting acts and plenty of audience participation starting September 1 to 3 from 5.30pm until  9.30pm.There will be plenty of opportunities for the audience to interact and joke with the walkabout parade including some perfect 'selfie' moments to capture the memories for years to come.
Sharjah Fountain - There is also a host of delicious international cuisine and a chance to enjoy a ride on the water karts towards the picturesque view of Al Noor Island and the city skyline on the horizon.
