The high-level delegation, led by Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA) Chairman Amr El Ezabi, has representatives from the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, hotel federation and the travel industry.

The visitors are scheduled to meet their UAE counterparts to discuss the latest development in tourism in Egypt.

"Egypt continues to be one of the most popular tourism destinations and a perennial favourite among Gulf Arab travellers," Ezabi stated, adding that property reforms and attractive prices have encouraged many Gulf Arabs to purchase holiday homes in Egypt.

During the road show, the delegation will provide information about the rules and regulations of tourist visas for Egypt, as well as facilities available to UAE investors.

Launched in Libya early this month, the road show will continue till June 25. After its stop in the UAE, the Egyptian delegation will proceed to Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

A concert by Egyptian singer Mohammed Tharwat is part of the road show. Tharwat will perform for the public on May 1 at the Cultural Foundation here.
