eGovt to facilitate online ‘Dubai Cares’ donations

DUBAI — Dubai eGovernment has announced that its ePay payment gateway will facilitate online payment of donations towards ‘Dubai Cares’, the landmark initiative launched recently by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to raise money to help educate one million children in poor countries.

Individuals and corporates who wish to contribute to ‘Dubai Cares’ through a secure and reliable online payment system can now do so by logging on to www.dubaicares.ae and clicking on the ‘donate online’ section.

Mohammed Amin Al Emadi, Project Coordinator, ‘Dubai Cares’, said: “By offering a secure online payment utility, a greater number of individuals and corporations in the UAE have a chance to easily make a contribution to this worthy initiative. This payment gateway also complements the several convenient options that we are currently offering residents, visitors and businesses who wish to support this campaign. Moreover, a robust online utility such as this is a reflection of Dubai’s technologically savvy society.”
