Education pivotal in medical ethics
AL AIN — Education is the key in raising awareness on medical ethical issues and the code of conducts associated with various healthcare professions, said a health official.
Speaking at the opening of the first annual Medical and Professional Work Ethics conference on Wednesday, Dr Ali Obaid Al Ali, Health Regulation director of the Health Authority-Abu Dhabi (HAAD) said: “To ensure the quality of healthcare professionals working in the emirate is world class and to secure reliably high standards of healthcare services, HAAD requires all physicians, dentists, pharmacists and nurses to undertake continuous education.”
