e-TQM signs MoU with British firm

DUBAI-e-TQM college, the world's first online Total Quality Management educational institution, yesterday announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Emerald, a leading UK-based publisher.

Emerald is the leading online, international management information publisher.

Under the terms of the agreement, e-TQM college and Emerald will form a joint venture to establish a programme to translate a selection of resources from Emerald's widely acclaimed and award winning management journals to Arabic, which can be accessed by subscribers.

"e-TQM college, in conjunction with Emerald, will invest to create an infrastructure that will offer world class management articles tailored to the needs of the Arabic speaking world.

"We will also be licensed to translate and offer Emerald publications to an Arab audience," said Dr Mansour Al Awar, Director of e-TQM College.

The agreement will also allow the starting of new Arabic journals in order to improve the quality of e-ducation in Arab world.
