DUBAI — The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) is planning to launch an electronic statistical system containing current information on the private healthcare sector and school health in Dubai.
The system aims at establishing an environment of accurate and comprehensive health information which, in turn, will help the authority to supervise, control and regulate the medical sector in the emirate, Qadi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director-General of DHA, said recently.
He said the system falls in line with the international standards for healthcare planning and management in a scientific manner. He also said the system, which will be the first of its kind in the region, would help the strategic partnership between the authority and the private sector.
