Six of these machines have been installed at customer service centres in Al Bateen, Al Wathba, Al Shahama and ADM’s head office, as well as foodstuffs distribution centres on Al Muroor Street and in Musaffah.
Users can insert municipality-issued foodstuff cards into the machines which display details of the personal account. Cardholders can then order and pay for desired items, obtaining a delivery receipt from the machine. “This service has been warmly received by customers as it is flexible and accessible in many places, thus making it easy for citizens to complete procedures of obtaining foodstuffs without having to wait or engage in paper transactions,” said ADM Director of Customer Service Mohammed Ali Al Murar. The initiative reflects ADM’s ongoing strategy to improve customer service through the use of new technology, including online services, self-service e-kiosks and electronically equipped, mobile customer service centres.
