The guide, aimed to provide support to private schools, will introduce a distinguished educational service depending upon the efficiency of teaching staff and students. It will contain detailed information about all the private schools in the country .
The project launched last week has an estimated cost of Dh480,000 and is still under its preliminary phase.
The Minister held a meeting with Maryam Salmeen Al Ali, Director of the Office Supervising and Controlling Private Schools, to enter into agreement with the concerned specialised bodies to lay down a unified database.
Maryam said the first phase of the project, comprising 30 per cent of the targeted schools, will be completed in four months. A task force officer assigned to follow up the implementation of the e-guide project said the top officials at the ministry were keen on the matter that the private education sector should have an e-portal within the ministry’s website.
