Despite predictions of partial cloudiness in UAE skies, the weather is expected to clear later in the day paving the way to hot and sunny conditions.

Haze and dust that have been in the air causing low visibility in surroundings for the past few days is also expected to clear soon.Winds will be blowing north-westerly at 12 to 17 knots and south-westerly at 4 to 8 knots.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) reports that sea conditions will be moderate with chances of it being choppy at times.

Clouds may increase owing to a slight drop in temperature. Maximum temperature will be around 38 degrees Celsius while minimum at 29 degrees Celsius. Similar weather conditions will be seen on Monday.

Humidity around coastal areas will be greater compared to internal and mountainous areas with maximum range being around 70 to 95 per cent and minimum 20 to 50 per cent.

Internal areas are expected to have a maximum of 35 to 65 per cent and minimum at 10 to 20 per cent whereas mountain regions are better off at maximum figures of 25 to 35 per cent and minimum of 10 to 20 per cent.

According to a forecaster at the Dubai Meteorological Office, the recent weather change is a result of winds coming into the country off the coast of Saudi Arabia.

He said unpredictable weather is expected to continue this week. However, there will be no adverse weather changes. — news@khaleejtimes.com
