The proposed four-year agreement is an early win for new Boeing CEO
Ammar bin Tamim, PR Manager, Marketing and Administrative Department at Dubai Transport, said that 30 pyramid-shaped phosphorous signs were placed at major locations across the city to help customers seeking its taxi services.
"These signs are numbered and contain our dispatch number of 2080808 so that all what the customers have to do is contact us on the number and just inform the operators the number of the pole to which they are closely located. A Dubai Transport taxi will pick them up from that point in a matter of minutes," he said. This system was devised to ensure easy access to Dubai Transport drivers to customers who would like to avail of the services but find it hard to explain their location. Mr Bin Tamim said that the 30 poles are located around major shopping areas and public parks.
