Dubai Taxi Attended to 300,000 calls in April

DUBAI — Dubai Taxi attended to 300,000 calls, at an average of 10,000 calls per day during the month of April, Mullah Mohammed Obeid, CEO of the Public Transport Agency at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has stated.

During this period, Dubai Taxi executed 253,040 bookings on reservations, Obeid added.

According to Obeid, the maximum number of requests for reservation in Dubai came from Al Sufouh area (44,969). This locality has a large number of residential, tourist and commercial complexes such as Emirates Hills, Emirates Lakes, Marina Towers, and Emirates Golf Club. Garhoud was the second with 18,907 reservations followed by Mirdaf with 13,667 reservations, Al Tawar with 11,437 reservations, Barsha with 11,249 reservations, Umm Suqeim with 9,671 reservations, Jebel Ali with 8,834 reservations, Al Qusais with 8,356 reservations, Al Difaa with 7,865 reservations, and Karama with 7,812 reservations during the same month.
