Hauser’s comments came following his visit to Dubai Police’s human rights department where he was welcomed by its Deputy Director Major Dr Ghaith Ghanim Al Suwaidi who breifed the Swiss Consul about the department’s operations and the social services it was providing to the different sections of the police department.

The diplomat also reviewed the department’s organisational structure and objectives, including the units that operate round the clock, seven days a week. Major Al Suwaidi discussed the mechanism for receiving complaints and offering solutions.
