Dubai Metro services between Al Rashidya station and UAE Exchange station have been restored, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said.
RTA told Khaleej Times that there was a four-minute delay at the Union Station, connecting Dubai Metro’s red and green lines, that briefly caused disruption of services at BurJuman station and ADCB station during rush hour on Tuesday morning.
“No other stations were affected. It was just a precautionary measure and there were no major technical glitches. Operations returned to normal immediately,” the RTA said.
The metro users experienced long delays as train services on parts of the Red Line faced glitches during the early morning rush hour.
Trains halted on the red line between Al Rashidiya and UAE Exchange, according to social media users.

Residents faced heavy delays on the route.
