Dubai – The Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation, as part of its tireless effort to support the charity associations here, has contributed Dh20 million to Dar Al Ber Society for the benefit of the poor and needy.

The Foundation, one of the Dubai Islamic Bank institutions, has generously made the contribution during a premier gathering it holds on an annual basis at the Cultural and Scientific Association, Al Mamzar area.

Abdul Razzaq Al Abdullah, CEO of Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation, handed over a cheque of the contribution to Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, Executive Director of the Dar Al Ber Society.

Hailing the kind gesture, Bin Zayed said the Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation has been supportive to Dar Al Ber charity projects and programs for years.

“The Foundation’s white hands have much eased the suffering of the orphans, poor, needy, and low-income families, let alone its gracious support to the orphans’ annual celebration run on the first days of the holy month of Ramadan every year.”

Dar Al Ber, as usual, shall distribute the donation to eligible beneficiaries based on extensive researches done by competent staff social workers, he added. “The Foundation, a strategic partner to Dar Al Ber, helps the Society fulfill its goals and carry out its philanthropic projects.”

Abdul Razzaq Al Abdullah said the Dubai Islamic Humanitarian Foundation spares no effort to support all the charity entities operating in the country for the benefit of the poor.

“Dar Al Ber Society is known for its transparent transactions, programs and projects which are all evidenced and attached with official documents and carried out in coordination with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai.”
