Dubai Islamic Bank donates Dh21 million to 'Dubai Cares'

DUBAI — The Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has donated Dh21 million to ‘Dubai Cares.’ The announcement was made by Saad Abdul Razzaq, Group Chief Executive Officer, at a meeting here on Sunday with Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

“This contribution comes in response to the call of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to participate in this humanitarian effort,” Abdul Razzaq said.

The donation will be used to help build and operate 15 schools.
