When asked how she felt about performing in the UAE for the first time, the singer said, "I am so happy to be performing in Dubai."

Her visit to the region is the exclusive Middle-Eastern date of her "Taking Chances" world tour, which started on Valentine's Day in Johannesburg. Having performed for over 480, 000 fans in South Africa, the tour will continue to cover over 100 cities across more than 25 countries.

The Dubai date, to be held at the Four Seasons Golf Club, offers a fantastic venue for what promises to be an amazing show. After recently completing a five-year contract at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas, Celine says that touring is now " fresh and exciting, as it has been such a long time since I last did it."

She and her entourage of 150 people, including her husband, mother and son, arrived in Dubai late on Sunday night and can't wait to explore the city. Her only regret is that she cannot stay longer.
