DUBAI — Dubai Customs clients will be able to pay bills for transactions and dealings online when the department’s electronic services begin next month.
The move is part of the department’s plan to become the pioneering customs authority worldwide, according to a statement released to Khaleej Times yesterday.
The project is part of Dubai Custom’s efforts to provide three convenient ways for clients to make payments; by automatic teller machine (ATM) cards, electronic dirhams or direct debit from the customer’s bank account.
