Head of the Events and Patients Transfer Section Saad Al Marzouki said the dedicated service was admirable: “The Corporation has also secured the service of 120 sport events and occasions, 25 mass conferences and gatherings and four different activities, clocking 6,744 working hours”.

From January this year to March, it has provided support to 149 events, along with transferring 2,064 patients to hospitals.

Al Marzouki said the corporation pursued a flexible policy, and was keen on securing events — provided it was informed in ample time before the event kicks off in order to be able to locate the place and fix the number of ambulances and machinery as well as the rescuers and drivers, depending on the nature of the event.
