“With average occupancy rate over 100 per cent, DIAH is a busy property. But we are very clear on the quality of service that is offered, and the HACCP certification is yet another proof of this,” said Sunil Menon, DIAH general manager.
The Dubai International Airport Hotel was awarded its HACCP certification after a series of procedures, as well as extensive record checks, all culminating into an overall systems evaluation.
The HACCP focuses on eliminating potential hazards associated with a food product by first identifying possible hazards and then initiating measures to prevent and control them.
The process also establishes a comprehensive monitoring system for critical control points, and undertakes corrective actions if a prescribed critical limit is exceeded.
