DTCM drive to boost tourism

DUBAI — The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has launched a mega local media campaign as part of its efforts to promote domestic tourism.

The campaign will run until mid-August. Three different approaches have been utilised to encourage the United Arab Emirates residents, especially families and children, to spend their summer through a wide range of holiday options available in the booming emirate. Dubai is presently hosting the eighth edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS).

Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb. the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing Director Operations and Marketing, said: “This campaign is the outcome of a well-researched and carefully thought-out strategy. Our media and advertising team has worked hard on the project right from its concept to implementation.”
