The campaign, which is set to run till the second day of Eid Al Fitr, is in line with the government’s focus on people’s safety and protection.

The activities would be aimed to developing awarness among both nationals and Arab expatriates against the dangers of fireworks, stated Major Nasser Al Kaabi, Director of Media and Public Relations in the Abu Dhabi Police.

The campaign will make use of radio channels and newspapers, and posters will be distributed at malls, shopping centres and exhibitions centre.

The Abu Dhabi Education Zone, too, will develop awareness among students through school programs and SMS.
