DUBAI — The children’s drawing competition ‘Peace for Children’ concluded its activities with the participation of some 1,522 children of different ages and disabilities representing 22 centres at the UAE level.
The directors of participant centres commended the efforts of the competition’s sponsors and the organisers for developing the competition’s concept and its noble goals, and giving children the chance of expressing peace from their point of view.
Participant drawings demonstrated how children are affected by their surrounding environment, as the achievements of the late president, Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, were present in their selves and minds as one of the great leaders in history in the field of humanitarian work.
