DNRD's secret travellers on the prowl at Dubai airport

DUBAI — The Secret Traveller initiative launched by the Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD) at the beginning of this year showed a high rate of satisfaction among travellers with the services offered at the airport, said DNRD Director Major-General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri yesterday.

"Just yesterday we had 14 Secret Travellers using the Dubai International Airport (DIA). They are supposed to give us feedback later on their personal experience with the immigration service staff. This initiative is meant to keep track of the travellers on their arrival and before departure from the airport and to have their comments on the quality of services they were offered," he said.

Maj-Gen Al Marri pointed out that the selection of Secret Travellers was done randomly and they could be of any nationality.

He said that DNRD would be more interested in receiving negative comments so that flaws could be rectified.
