Dubai — The headquarters of the Directorate General of Immigration and Foreigners Affairs in the Jafliya area of Dubai shall remain closed for three days from February 1 to 3 for maintenance and renovation works.

Applications will not be accepted during the three-day maintenance work during which the public may approach any of the well-prepared and equipped immigration external centres across the emirate, the directorate said in a statement on Tuesday.

Major-General Mohammed Al Marri, Director-General of the directorate on Tuesday said applicants may submit applications at the headquarter from February 4.

The other immigration centres will provide all services, which are available at the headquarters in Jafliya area, from 7.30am to 10pm.

The public can visit the website of the directorate (www.dnrd.gov.ae) to identify the nearest immigration centre, he added.

“The Dubai immigration is very keen on easing and expediting procedures, and providing the best services through a variety of channels in line with the customer service classification project.”

Maj-Gen Al Marri said the customer service centre is reachable at AMER toll (8005111) or via the international landline (+97143139999) round the clock all the week round, or via official accounts on social media. ahmedshaaban@khaleejtimes.com
