DM urges companies to abide by gas emission regulations
DUBAI - The Dubai Municipality has asked companies to abide by the federal and local regulations concerning gas emission into the atmosphere in order to protect Ozone layer from depletion.
In a circular sent to various firms working in the refrigeration sector, the municipality has referred to a federal decree and technical guidelines issued by the Directorate of Environment of the Dubai Municipality setting clear
regulations concerning gas emissions. It advised all firms and individuals working in the refrigeration industry to ensure that the gas is not emitted into atmosphere.
The firms working in refrigeration industry have to obtain a permit from the Environmental Protection and Safety Section of the municipality. -
