From his early years of DJing at Bedrock nights in his hometown of Hastings, to the 10+ hours sets in New York today, one thing remains the same - his complete love for all music. In Dubai for the first time, DJ Danny, who is also known as the clubbers DJ, plans to enthrall crowds with his techno music.

It is no coincidence that DJ Danny has been placed in DJ magazine's top 20 DJs in the world for the past three years. Danny is famous for his eclectic sound that has been described as ‘deepsexyfuturistictechfunkhouse' and it is this sound that is shaking floors worldwide.

Speaking to the Press yesterday, DJ Danny said, "There are several DJs visiting Dubai nowadays, so I am kind of open-minded with regard to my popularity." DJ Danny also said that he loves playing longer sets, but today he will be playing a three-hour long set at the Planetarium. Also accompanying him will be Peter Mac, a well-known saxophonist who loves playing rock.

With over 12 years of experience, DJ Danny's hectic schedule takes him all over Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australia. Describing his favourite venue Arc in New York, where his 10-hour marathon sets are fast becoming legendary, Danny said, "I love it most probably because I play there often and also know several people there." DJ Danny is also famous for his production works. His latest offering 24/7 is the first in a new series of albums for Global Underground.

Also present at the Press conference were Greg Burns from Free FM, Peter Mac, Monir Al Sati from Emirates Computers and Steve Swindells, Planetarium Club Manager. The event is co-sponsored by Virgin Megastore, Free 967, Vibe Me and Time Out, Dubai.
