DIHQA invites Islamic scholars

DUBAI — The Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) has announced that it has invited an imminent group of Islamic scholars and preachers during the holy month of Ramadan before the annual competition, which starts on September 20.

Ibrahim Bu Melha, DIHQA organising committee chairman, said the organisation has been holding lectures by renowned scholars for many years. It has also been hosting seminars for women as well. Mahmood Al Masri and Omar Abd-Al Kafi from Egypt, and Dr Mohammed Ratib Al Nablisi from Syria are expected to deliver lectures.
