DIHAD meet

DUBAI - The first Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Redevelopment Conference and Exhibition (DIHAD 2004) will be held in Dubai from April 6 to 8 this year at the Dubai International Convention Centre under the patronage of the Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charitable Foundation.

The event is being organised by Index Conference and Exhibitions Organising Establishments and is also supported by the Dubai Aid City, the Dubai Ports, Free Zone and Customs Corporation and the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

It is also expected that 750 personalities from 60 countries will attend DIHAD 2004. Abdel Salam Madani, the chairman of the board of Index, said that this is the first time that the International Humanitarian Aid and Redevelopment Conference and Exhibition is being held outside Swizerland.
