The Bollywood megastar will not be portraying Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' in the franchise's next instalment
The DIFF launched the first poster competition in October, challenging creative individuals to capture its essence.
The contest has drawn a large number of entries, as well as multiple requests for additional time. The competition is open to any individual practicing art across the Gulf, whether student or self-taught, full-time or part-time, professional or hobbyist, working in any medium or style. Photography, painting, drawing, computer-aided illustrations and other art forms are welcomed. An independent jury will evaluate submissions based on creativity, originality and relevance. The top 10 poster designs will receive special-access packs to the DIFF 2010, including a 25-ticket voucher pack for festival films and a DIFF Gala ticket pack with access to select red carpet gala screenings. — news@khaleejtimes.com
