A non-profit humanitarian project, Dhaka was founded by Maria Conceicao in 2005 providing support to poor families and their children in the Bangladeshi capital by training adults in the family to become more self-sufficient and facilitating education for the children.

Executive Director for Giordano, Middle East and Africa, Ishwar Chugani, said that the clothes manufacturer “is keen to support charities in the region, and will continue to extend its support to such programmes. We always try to do what we can through various types and scales of donations, fundraising and volunteering.”
